I dare to have an opinion about the future developement of price levels of currencies, stock indices, interest rates and commodities.

A new investment - long position or short position - is done, when a believeable trend is forming. As mentioned in "Philosophy" I do use technical analysis, but I am certainly not a quant, since I like to use my experience and my gut feeling too. Otherwise a trained monkey should be able to earn money endlessly, and with all respects to our animal relatives, but I don't think that this would be good for humanity.

A change of position comes if the trend is turning rapidly in the opposite direction, the stopp loss or the take profit targets are triggered. The time frame I take are 3 to 18 months, so in other words no fast money, and nothing really interesting for day traders. But you are of course very welcomed here as well.

Not all ideas are covered, especially my long term strategies are omitted here by purpose. However if you are interested in them, please do not hesitate to contact me.
